I wanted a quiet location in the countryside near Bergamo for 3 nights. Perfect. Bright & clean. Spacious room. Recently renovated. Modern design touches. Very few guests when I was there. Very personal attention from the staff! Lovely grounds & views to the nearby hills. The warm-water wellness-pools are welcome for a tired traveler. The breakfast room is bright and cheerful. Lovely fresh food. Drinks & snacks in the room, including hot-water cooker & coffee. About 30 min drive into Bergamo for sight-seeing. Nearby Osteria in the forest was a great tip from Maurizio, the hotel manager. Would love to return for a longer stay!

It’s a beautiful property in a beautiful location. Breakfast was nice and the staff are really friendly. Elisa, who runs the place, is absolutely amazing and was very approachable and helpful throughout our stay.

Best place if you are looking for a chill stay and visiting Como lake and Bergamo. Only one hour from Varenna by car and 45 minutes to Bergamo (if you are not afraid of driving on narrow mountain roads. We loved it!) We spent a night in the double room and it was the cleanest house we have ever seen. They have a proper big Italian kitchen, well equipped to share with other guests. The views are stunning and the check in and communication with the host is incredibly easy. The pizza restaurant next to the house has some serious wines and delicious calzones.

    The location is great, secluded in the hills, far away from the rest of the nearby buildings while having a beautiful view. The receptionist was extremely friendly (English and Italian speaking) and helpful with tips and general information. Breakfast was fresh and good while served with a smile.

    The location is just stunning! It’s set up on a hill with amazing views. The room and the facilities were also excellent. However, the owners of Al Colle (Cristina & Germano) make this place even more special and amazing. Truly wonderful hospitality, coupled with genuine warmth and amazing service! I can’t recommend highly enough!

    The accommodation is excellent and much better than expected, with everything you may need for a pleasant stay. The location is excellent, for those looking for peace, with a note that because of the church bells, it is difficult to sleep longer than 7.30-8 am :).

    Everything was great. The scenery, the breakfast, the very clean and modern rooms and - most of all - the lovely and veeeeery welcoming hosts. Food in the restaurant was also really nice. The pool makes it a great place to relax, but for outdoor-lovers there are also a lot of nice hiking trails nearby. Would recommend to everyone!

    Cristina & Germano are amazing hosts! The location is magnificent and the facilities are amazing. Breakfast is in itself and experience and Cristina made all effort to spoil us and the kids- fresh fruits, Italian specialties, great cappuccino, fresh baked bread & sweets. Is a piece of paradise and an amazing location to spent relaxed days!

    Everything was perfect. Cristina and germano hosted as with an open heart ❤️ They took care of all and more. The breakfast was the best we ever had in any hotel. The location was amazing for walking around in the beautiful serounding and to drive shortly to park leolandia and to our flight back home. Thank you very much

    Amazing place, historic location, tastefully prepared interior that met our expectations perfectly. We arrived in the middle of the night, nevertheless the Host was exemplary in helping us with our accommodation. The apartment is perfectly equipped and adapted to the users. You can feel the history of the place and the taste of the Owner.
