Giorgio is a very nice and helpful person. He met me at the parking lot next door and explained everything. In the apartment he made sure I had everything I needed, recommended some restaurants and even brought me breakfast the next day (the place across the street for breakfast was closed that day). The apartment is very clean and tidy with great attention to detail. My room was small but comfortable and absolutely enough for a night or even a few days. It was quiet and there were blinds to cover the windows for a good night's sleep. Only the pillows were low and my head sank in. One higher pillow would have been nice. All in all, I am very happy I chose B&B Civicocento 😊

Franco was an incredible host who went above and beyond to accommodate us. He made us delicious coffee every morning, gave us travel recommendations, and came to help us whenever we needed it, even when he was busy. We were very well taken care of! We don’t speak much Italian but we were able to communicate with Franco through Google Translate. We also were able to text his daughters on WhatsApp and they were responsive and generous as well. Franco showed us that warmth and kindness exceed any language barrier. We loved exploring the Naples area, Pompeii, Herculaneum, and the Amalfi Coast but staying here has been the greatest highlight of our time in Italy!

If wishing to properly visit the old archaeological sites of Pompeii and Herculaneum without breaking too much of the immersion one cannot choose better. It is a beautiful rustic villa, with a feel probably not much different from those in antiquity, where you’ll start your day with an unhindered view of the volcano and retire in the evening for a glass of wine to enjoy it’s (however temporary) serenity, far away from the loud noises and hectic traffic of the town below. The whole building, as well as the rooms give off a genuine atmosphere due to their layout and special details such as the massive wood furnishing or wrought-iron fittings. Nothing here seems store-brought or ready-made. However it’s best feature is the small bar (with a great selection of local wines) and the outside terrace set up beneath the trees which surround the house and offers a great perspective of it’s grounds and of Vesuvius which seems to “start from the back yard” and was the place we spent a couple of quiet evenings admiring the sunset and discussing the highlights of the day. The host was very welcoming and during our stay we felt not so much as tourists but more as guests visiting a relative, which gave a special feeling to our “Vesuvian” vacation. In closing I would highly recommend staying here to those looking for a quiet and authentic experience of the area.

The property is really nice, surrounding by a park full of peace. The terrace of our room looked at the park, and we enjoy spending time reading, snacking. The table and parasol in the terrace are quite useful. the room and bathroom are crystal clean! a good breakfast is served at the room where a little fridge preserve the dairies that are placed every day and fresh bread & croissants delivered every morning! we love the place! Giovanni gave great advice on local restaurants and brought us to buy tickets and to train to Pompeii and Herculanum and offered to pick us up from the train when we’d had been back! (we walked back). Both Giovanni and his wife are great hosts!

Very cozy and quiet place. Super helpful and kind owner Manuel and hostess Olga. The beach and shopping street are within walking distance. We liked most the sauna and the pool at the place. Pool has a diving board. That was childrens favorite. There was a parking space for the car. Nice garden with birds and turtles. There are only 5 rooms for customers. It means a lot of privacy.

Rooms were large with good facilities, comfortable beds, spotlessly clean and lovely large verandas overlooking the garden and sea in the distance. Several good restaurants in the area all within walking distance. Good location to explore the region. 20mins from the airport. Excellent Host who was always available to help and advise

    Location by the sea was great, it was awesome to see the sea from your front porch and the city from your own balcony. The apartment was very clean and the washing machine and espresso machines were a great bonus at this price. I really recommend this apartment!

    I really liked the accommodation. It was clean, the room looked freshly painted, I didn't have big expectations since we were a group of students travelling with low budget but this was much better than I expected. For that price a very good deal.

    The hotel is in a very good location, 10 minutes to the train station, very clean, and the owner is very nice and helpful. If I had to go back there again, I would definitely go back there, I recommend it 😃

    The owner was very helpful and kind we were delayed on arrival and he waited longer for us. The apartment was immaculately clean and fully equipped as well as air conditioned with access to a wonderful terrace and balcony. Proximity to the upper train station and local stores, restaurants and lido (private ) beaches make it an ideal location. The property was more comfortable than I could’ve expected, the local area looked worrisome on the map but in reality was friendly. I certainly can recommend this apartment with full certainty.
