Amazing guest who told us about great food options (bingsu, makgeolli, bibmbap restaurants) and a Hanbok rental. He even helped us book some of these places. The family room is large, really comfortable and extremely clean. The breakfast offered by the owner is simple but healthy and traditional.

Stunning hanok right in the centre of the hanok village - you couldn't be better positioned to go for a leisurely stroll around the village and see the beautiful architecture. The hanok itself is very clean and comfortable (obviously you'll be sleeping in a futon but that's a given) - the bathroom is very clean, modern and dries very well despite being a hand-held shower, and the floors are heated and soft which was very welcome in winter! The breakfasts are fresh fruit including local persimon, which is a welcome freshness when travelling in Korea. But above all, the host is extremely kind, attentive and helpful - we were able to store our bags after check out with no issues, and she even prepared a snack kit for each of us for our flight to Jeju island! Honestly couldn't recommend it more highly - the perfect place to stay if you're looking for a proper hanok experience in Jeonju! (Goes without saying but all the sights and best bibimpap places are around the corner)

This place offers a rare opportunity to experience traditional Korean bedding. Even as Koreans, most modern lifestyles involve sleeping on beds, making such an experience uncommon. The accommodation thoughtfully provides a complimentary 10cm-thick foldable mattress to ensure extra comfort and support, which made our stay very enjoyable. The host sent all the necessary information to my contact before check-in, and although they were not staying on-site, they were always responsive and quick to resolve any questions or inconveniences. The location is unbeatable—right in Hanok Village, with all the major heritage sites within a 2-minute walking distance.

As soon as we both arrived in this wonderful place we were met with a warmth and kindness that we will certainly take with us on the rest of our travels. The ‘Alleyway' is a cosy and relaxing refuge to explore what Jeonju has to offer. The food, art, music, and—best of all—company, has only added to the charm of this lovely space.     Everything was great, staff were friendly, the location is good, in a quiet spot right next to the Hanok village. The room was big enough, there was a communal space to eat/store food, everything was very clean. The shared bathrooms were impeccable our whole stay, there was 4 rooms and 4 showers on our floor so plenty of space. The owner/staff were incredibly friendly when we did see them!
