My recent stay at Gampaha Heritage was truly wonderful, with warm hospitality from the staff who went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed, making me feel genuinely welcome from the moment I arrived. The guesthouse is immaculately clean and well-maintained, with spotless rooms and a fresh, tidy atmosphere that made for a very comfortable and relaxing stay. The peaceful surroundings, combined with the quiet environment, created the perfect place to unwind. The rooftop area was an added delight, offering a lovely space to relax and enjoy the view. Breakfast was excellent, featuring a delicious Sri Lankan-style spread with great quality and variety. The location is ideal for a tranquil escape while still being conveniently close to Gampaha city, making it easy to access shops and restaurants. From here, you can also travel easily by train—whether pre-booked online or with regular tickets—to destinations like Ella, Anuradhapura, Trincomalee, Hikkaduwa, and Mirissa. I highly recommend Gampaha Heritage for anyone looking for a peaceful, comfortable, and enjoyable stay in Gampaha.

The host and his family are exceptionally friendly, helpful and extremely hospitable. The location is perfect for anyone arriving from the airport heading inland, since it is close to the railroad (without being close enough to hear it). The town is the perfect place to acclimatise to Sri Lankan life and heat, and gives you a unique opportunity to explore village life off the beaten track. The rooms have everything you need and the breakfast is overwhelmingly delicious. All in all, we would recommend going here straight from the airport, rather crowded and noisy Colombo

The host and the care taker were very flexible with check in and check out times and process. Close to Gampaha town centre but not yet in the town centre so has idyllic nature to it. It is an old family home carefully converted to a guest house. Selva the care taker was kind and attentive.

We booked the home with cautious because there were no prior reviews. But , it was a wonderful luxury brand new apartment. My family with two kids enjoyed the stay very much. There are two comfortable bedrooms . One bedroom and living area air conditioned. Big plus is air conditions are new and cooling well. Modern kitchen available with all necessary kitchenette. Smart TV, sofas and sceneries on wall made our stay more enjoyable and relax. Bathroom is well occupied. It was a very clean holiday home and we felt like home. Private parking is available and very is to reach the property. Although we stayed only one day, there are all facilities available for a longer stay also. The host is very friendly and always in touch and helpful. We highly recommend the Cinnamon Holiday Home for guests for both shorter and longer stay and hope to visit again !

Absolutely fantastic stay. The owners were wonderful. The staff went out of their way to accommodate all our request. A huge thanks also to their property manager Sumith whose service was above expectations. Will most definitely recommend the place to anyone.

I made the best choice in booking Summerhouse for a weekend stay with my wife and 5 month old son! The couple, villa owners, are very nice, friendly, pleasant, and were extremely accommodating, especially to make our stay more comfortable with the little one. It’s so close to Colombo, and really is a place to get away from city living. The villa was oozing with charm… it was clean and well equipped with everything to make a very private, comfortable and enjoyable stay. And since it’s located within a larger housing scheme, we also able to use the pool and clubhouse as well, which was quite neat and also safe. Overall we loved our weekend at Summerhouse! Would definitely recommend it to friends and family! ☺️

We had a wonderful stay and felt completely at home. The location offers easy access to the airport, and the surroundings are green and tranquil. Being inside a secure complex gave us great peace of mind. The accommodation itself was extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean. Uncle and Aunty made our stay warm and welcoming with their kindness and hospitality. The food we ordered was of very high quality, and we truly enjoyed every meal during our stay. Overall, it was a delightful and memorable experience.

    We were warmly welcomed upon arrival. The hosts are super kind and lovely people. They greeted us with a drink, helped carry our backpacks, ordered food for us and prepared a delicious breakfast. Additionally, they arranged transportation to our next destination. The place is very clean as well. If we are in the area again, we will definitely return.

    Very welcoming and super helpful host - he picked me up from the station, went out to get food for me in the pouring rain, gave me a plate of sliced, sweet mangoes and even took me to the airport. Convenient location for the airport and train.

    Though the hotel is situated in an industrial area, it suited us on our way from Ratnapurna to Negombo. When we arrived though, we entered a different world. The hotel is nothing short of beautiful. The interior decorating of the rooms, reception, hallways,... stunning, in addition the pool and outside restaurant resembles a south sea island setting. You have to see it to believe it. This hotel created ever so successfully its own 'location'. Food, service, cleanliness, name it and we could only say that it was top notch.

    Highly recommended for anyone to stay at this lovely place. Clean, spacious and comfortable to stay all day long. Eranda & his family are friendly and hospitality was top notch. Location is just the right distance from the airport and easily accessible. Convenient place if anyone is planning to travel either to the central part of Sri Lanka (Kandy) or to the hill country (Nuwaraeliya)
