Fantastic hotel from the moment we checked-in until check-out! Staff really was there to help when needed and swimming pool was amazing! A little bit overvalued in terms of pricing in my opinion for Sri Lanka but overall it was a super nice stay and we enjoyed it. Breakfast was delicious and a lot to choose from!

We loved our stay! This is a perfect place to relax. The hotel is built on a hill and can only be reached by a funicular railway or a long staircase. Due to its elevated location, you truly feel part of the jungle, with a stunning view to match. The highlight of our visit was definitely the monkeys – but a word of caution: if you're not a fan of monkeys, this might not be the place for you, as they can be quite intrusive. They even stole my sunscreen and almost broke into our room, as they are able to open the door (always lock the door!). The bar and staff were outstanding – very dedicated and friendly. We loved relaxing at the pool on top of the hotel.

Wonderful staff, all very helpful and nice. The hotel itself is gorgeous. Comfort very high, pool very nice. The chef is great and interacts with the guest as well which we liked. Close to the beach but still on a calmer road.

This is a new, modernly furnished complex of three villas. Each villa has two separate bedrooms with their own bathroom, located on the 2nd floor. On the ground floors there is a large dining area, kitchen area and seating areas. In the backyard there is a swimming pool and sunbathing areas. The layout of the villas is very comfortable. The villas are equipped with everything you need. If something is missing, the staff will quickly bring it. Contact the guys via Whats app. The staff is very welcoming, sociable, friendly, always ready to help. Predib, I hope we will see each other again :-) The location of the villas is also excellent - the city beach and the Smoke&Bitters restaurant are 20 meters away. Within 800 meters, there are many cafes, including breakfast ones. You can also buy groceries at the Cargills supermarket or order breakfast at the Villa. By the way, there is even a restaurant with food delivery - Blue Bay Chillout Lounge. We used it several times, very convenient :-). We liked everything. We will definitely recommend this place and will happy return again.

We really enjoyed our time in Moringa Mirissa - room was comfortable and large. We couldn’t fault anything! Warm water was working, no problem at all. The whole stay was beautiful, with the most amazing breakfast - both options (Sri Lankan + English) were really lovely. Manager was wonderful, so engaging and helpful throughout our stay and booked us a transfer to other destination for reasonable price. Make sure that you book tuktuk + taxis through Moringa boss as he always arrange decent drivers and save you lot of hustle and some money. The location is 10-15 min walk from beach, side from hustle and party noises. They don't have a pool but there is optional pool close by (BluOra Mirrisa) with large pool just 1 min walk from accommodation where you pay 2000 rupees for whole family and can swim for 3 hours with Pina colada included. We have traveled with two small kids and accommodation is really family friendly, both boys employed by Moringa were really lovely to our kids and had good manners and politeness. We couldn’t thank all staff enough for everything they did to make our stay so enjoyable. We didn’t want to leave neither did our little girls Agata and Beatrice. Also you can see a monkey family right from your window jumping on electric cables. If you have a skateboard with you - you can skate next door to Moringa as they have old school skate pool like in Movie Lords of dogtown. We had splendid time in Moringa.

I recently stayed at Swell Shacks for one night and had an amazing experience. The hotel was exceptionally clean and well-maintained. The design of the hotel is simply stunning and perfectly complements the beautiful environment. I loved waking up to the sound of the ocean and having the beach right in front of our room. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The breakfast provided was delicious and offered a variety of options. The view from the hotel is absolutely stunning, offering breathtaking sights. I had such a wonderful time that I will definitely be coming back in the future. I highly recommend Swell Shacks for anyone looking for a memorable and enjoyable stay. Special mention for Gayantha and Madushanka, always smiling, very welcoming and helpful, they definitely make our stay even better 😃 !
