We loved the location of Wanakaset Forest glamping right in the heart of the forest which afforded us amazing views of the hills from our balcony room. The food was plentiful and delicious and the ladies in the kitchen incredibly hospitable. We ventured out on a trek with Banda who was passionate and knowledgeable about the flora and fauna of the area. We would highly recommend a stay in this forest sanctuary.

Mona, her aunt and her boy Shaun are just adorable. The place is unique and when you arrive, you find yourself away from everything in the middle of the jungle, it’s absolutely stunning. There is wildlife, beautiful birds dancing and a natural pool that is incredible. I am a solo mum traveler with my toddler and it was beautiful to see our sons play together. She even watched my boy so I could get enjoy the natural pool. Mona is a cool and lovely woman and I loved how her and aunty are running thia place. I would love to come back! Dinner was one of the best I had in Sri Lanka! Absolutely loved this place!

Beautiful new villa on a hill with great view on surrounding mountains. The owner was very friendly, helped us to organize a trip in forest and rafting. Super clean. Very friendly staff.

The location is simply stunning. Views from the terrace, the pool and the room are incredible regardless of weather. Pool is in a garden setting where the tea bushes meet to edge of the garden. Food good and not unreasonable. Staff very attentive rooms simple and old world charm but all in keeping with the hotels age.

    Amazing location in the jungle. The big shared lounge was a fabulous room with comfy chairs - you felt you were really part of the jungle. The food was freshly prepared and included ingredients found near by. The hosts were extremely kind and helpful and helped arrange our rafting trip with Wasantha which was excellent.

    For us, the best thing about this hotel is the location. It’s situated on a private tea plantation, it’s remote and quiet.. and the views are amazing. Food was good but bit on the expensive side. Eating out is a hassle due to the remote location. Staying at the “villa” we had a private pool… together with tjat view is stunning. Beautiful domain to have a walk in…

    Our stay at White Villa was amazing, rooms were super clean and comfortable, and the location was great. All villas are fully connected to nature, and walking distance, there is a natural freshwater pool. Also, the food was delicious. They made everything home made and lots of ingredients from their Garden so super fresh. The owners are super friendly they arranged everything that we require. Hope to visit again soon.

    The host was very supportive. Provided delicious meals with a wide variety. There are few natural pools nearby with easy and private access. The location has a nice view with a quiet surrounding. It's conveniently situated just 5 to 10 minutes away from Kitulgala, allowing easy access to all the adventurous activities this area has to offer. If you are a person who would love a homely stay by being closer to nature, this would be an ideal stay.

    Fantastic location with a river you can swim in next to it. Great spot for doing lots of adventure activities such as white water rafting, canyoning etc. The host was very helpful in organising activities and transport and made sure we were comfortable the whole time. The staff were very attentive and the food was delicious. Very clean and well looked after property!
