Exceptional location, quality of facilities and customer service. Combination of pool and river (and nearby waterfall) was a massive hit with kids. Also very close to access to rainforest. Staff very helpful, running us around in Tuk Tuks etc. A special place.

Best expirence you will have in sri lanka ! First of all the house itself is a peace of art ! You can see the hostes think of every small detail and alot ofoney was invested to make sure gusstes are happy ! From the uniqe decoration to the tje built of the house and matireals of huge stones and wood all over rhe house huge speaker system the mosf beautofull jungle view i had ever seen ! And most importent the hosts ! Lovely couple that you can feel the love and hospitalety they give to the guestes from high qualify diverss meales made by a chef how is the owner to the rides trips and all requesr we had they did more then we ever expected and with a huge smile every timr !! Surly the besf faciliys best foid best view and best hospitalety i had ever recived ! No words will be enoghu ! Thank you jani and malu ! We are for sure going to be your guestes soon ! I had an absolutely amazing stay at Rainforest Next! The value for money is incredible—each bungalow is separate and overlooks lush rice fields that blend into the rainforest, creating a truly peaceful and immersive experience. The room itself was comfortable, with a big veranda and a cozy double bed where I fell asleep to the soothing sounds of the jungle. The couple running the place go above and beyond to make sure every guest feels at home. Even though I arrived past midnight, there was no hesitation in preparing a meal for me, which I really appreciated. The next morning, I enjoyed a delicious complimentary breakfast made exactly to my request. The portions are generous, so if you prefer smaller servings, it might be good to mention it. One of the highlights of my stay was the private rainforest tour with the owner, who is a professional guide. It was such a fun and educational experience—his ability to spot animals is just unreal! After an adventurous day, we returned to a fantastic homecooked meal that was the perfect way to end the evening. Unfortunately, I fell ill overnight, but the care and concern from the hosts made all the difference. They were genuinely worried and made sure I had everything I needed, which I truly appreciated. Overall, Rainforest Next is a hidden gem—beautiful surroundings, wonderful hospitality, and an experience you won’t forget. Highly recommend!

The view from our patio was breath taking, and the glass doors looking out at the view made it even more special, because it feels like you are close to the jungle even indoors. You get to see several species of birds right from there in the mornings. Saman, our host was very accommodating and his brother Pradeep took us on our jungle tour and we had a great time. There’s a hotel close by where you can pay to use the pool as well.

We had a wonderful time at Sinharaja Forest Lodge! The room was very comfortable and clean, with a peaceful atmosphere perfect for relaxing. The staff were super friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast was delicious and fresh every morning. The lodge is beautifully surrounded by tea plantations, and the morning views are simply stunning. A perfect place for nature lovers. Highly recommended!

Where to start? Hemal is such a such a kind guy and the best host you can imagine. It’s a new hotel so I was happy to be the first client. The hotel is at the entrance of the park and besides the great and spacious rooms as well as great food made by his wife, Hemal is an awesome forst guide that spots animals from a distance away! I did both the night tour seeing loris, scorpions, deer and snakes etc. (be silent while he’s spotting) as well as day tour with a.o. endangered monkeys and a beautiful waterfall. Also, from the terraces you can spot a lot of peacocks and other birds in the front of the stay. He also helped me arrange a taxi a good price back. 200% worth the visit!

Staying at Sinharaja Rainforest Vibe was a wonderful experience. We had our own cozy villa just a few minutes’ walk from the entrance to Sinharaja Forest, which made it the perfect base for exploring the area. The owner, Danushke, is an experienced guide who organized amazing jungle treks for us, and he was always ready to help with anything we needed – from arranging transport to personally driving us himself. The meals were delicious. Together with his wife and sister, he went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable and truly enjoyed our stay. A warm and genuine hospitality that made our time here unforgettable.
