This is a great stop of for visiting the nearby safari. Everything was great. A real family atmosphere where everyone tries to make your stay as memorable as possible. They arranged a Valentines surprise for us, a cooking course which was incredible and thorough and also a great safari. Lovely big cool room too. Wonderful value too.

The manager of the resort was amazing. He sent for a bottle of wine and beer for us for our meals at the resort. Room was so comfortable, bed and pillows were perfect. Bathroom was clean. Pool was so nice. Very close to the entrance to the park although we saw few animals the day we went. We stayed 2 nights and had dinner at the restaurant. Wonderful meals..resort is only 1 year old. Would definitely stay here again!

The facility, the room, the amenities and property everything was just amazing. The food was also excellent.. owner Anne was very sweet and caring. This facility is near to block 6 of the national park which has a lot of elephants and other animals and birds.. although block 1 is famous for leapord but sightings are difficult and it's dense forest so we can't see a lot of animals.. we would have loved to spend a few more days just relaxing in this property if we didn't have other plans. Amazing views of the lake and peacocks and monkeys roaming in the hotel gardens.. amazing.

The room was comfortable and we had a great nights sleep, very comfortable beds. The balcony was a lovely relaxed space to enjoy the view of the elephants. The hosts were warm and welcoming they went above and beyond to make our stay perfect, what a beautiful family they are. We stayed an extra night and we ate at the resort both nights as the food was so good. Can’t fault this place. Highly recommend ☺️

Buddika is a great host and made us feel incredibly welcome. The food was good home cooked Sri Lankan curry and we were definitely full. The safari was great and I fully recommend it. It's only 2 minutes from the Udawalawe National Park entrance. We went in the afternoon for Safari with Shabaka Pradeep (arranged by Buddika) he was brilliant, we saw so many elephants, the park wasn't too full of jeeps and they didn't crowd the animals. Buddika went above and beyond, the room was brand new.

The breakfast and dinner was some of the best food we’ve had in Sri Lanka. They easily arranged the safari for us. Room was quiet and comfortable.
