We've accommodated in hotel sanctuary last week. It was very clean and attractive.The rooms and bathrooms were spacious and well organized.The pool area was fantastic, to have fun.The hotel keeper was very friendly and helpful.The hotel owner was the same. The meals were really delicious.We could enjoy the scenic beauty of rakwana mountains right from the hotel.That accomodation package was very reasonable for the payed price.I recommend this place for people, who are expecting a perfect stay near Rakwana.

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful Bungalow during our visit to Sinharaja rain forest. Bungalow Manager, Ishan together with the chef and butler ensured we had an amazing experience with a very attentive service. The food was amazing and the Sri Lankan cooking demo followed by delicious lunch in the garden is a must try. The bungalow itself had a very luxurious set up and beautiful interior with views to die for. We wished we could've stayed longer at this beautiful place.

Fantastic location, beautiful green area. The room was very spacious and very clean. The staff was also fantastic and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel.

Family run pension - the hosts are very friendly and helpful. Amazing location! This is a proper hideaway - the bungalows are located away from any road (the hosts would pick you up with their 4x4 from the village but you'll have to follow the narrow pathway also to reach a beautiful river cascade at the doorstep of your tiny house. Perfect place to watch nature (eagles, kingfishers, peacocks, magpies, barking deer). The family provides really good, home cooked meals, fresh juices and desserts. Treks and activities are also available. Highly recommended for anyone craving an adventure and to connect with nature. Thank you for everything!

Our stay at the Rainforest Nest was amazing. The hosts are the kindest persons, and always smiling. Saman is a great guide, thanks to him we saw a lot of endemic animals! We definitely recommend going on a rainforest tour with him. His wife is an awesome cook. We loved their food and the couple was very accommodating. Terrace Cinnamon View is an exceptional place with incredible views over the hill country from every room and balcony. Even at night we would leave the curtains open so that in the morning we could see the gentle, rolling landscape from our bed - a luxury! The place is perfectly clean and decorated with taste and has a pretty pool. Rumesh and his team are lovely people - friendly, efficient and attentive to your every need. The meals taken on the large terrasse overlooking the mountain are delicious. Peaceful and quiet, this is the perfect place to unwind and contemplate nature.

The location of the accommodation is amazing. It is just next to the rainforest with a beautiful view. Also the room was modern and nice. The food was delicious. The people are kind and helpful (arranging hiking tours, finding taxi, etc.).

We really enjoyed our stay at Sinharaja Vini Villa. The location is beautiful next to the river and close to Sinharaja Forrest reserve. It's so peaceful, nice place to relax. The hosts are such a lovely family, very welcoming. All the family are involved in running the homestay. We also had dinner there, the portions are generous, and also beautiful fresh fruit juices. To walk in Sinharaja forest you need a guide as paths are not clearly marked, our host arranged a guide for the day hike, and was very kind as we arrived back late (we took ages with taking photos) and we were able to shower and freshen up, and had complimentary fruit juice before our onward journey. Our shoes got really muddy, and our host kindly washed them, and dried them for us. Also the accommodation can arrange you transport with good safe drivers. Would certainly recommend staying there, especially if you love a quiet time, nature and Forrest.
