Location, food and staff all amazing. Room and facilities were all so clean. Food was amazing. They organised everything for us with the safari which was such a great morning. The staff were absolutely amazing, and so unbelievably helpful. Genuinely couldn’t fault a thing.

Hands down our favourite hotel of the trip. The villa is gorgeous, plenty of space for the 5 of us. The whoops of joy as our kids explored the place said it all! Private pool, incredible food, attentive staff, wildlife all around. On our first evening, the guides took us to the red sand beach, about a 20 minute walk away. Very beautiful. You walk past a lake with baby crocs, can spot iguanas and other wildlife. Magical. We booked a safari through the hotel, the jeep was comfortable, and very reasonably priced. They packed us a breakfast to take with. The service was outstanding. We didn't want to leave.

Our two-night stay at this hotel was undoubtedly one of the best experiences we've ever had, and certainly the best in Sri Lanka. The room was amazing—spacious, beautifully decorated, and tastefully designed. The hotel facilities were excellent, including a stunning pool overlooking the rice fields, a mini-golf course, and an air rifle shooting range. We had all our meals at the hotel, trying various dishes, and every single one was exceptional—far superior to anything else we had during our trip in Sri Lanka. We also booked a safari through the hotel, and we highly recommend it. The process was effortless, and they even prepared a small basket with water and cookies for us to take along. Last but not least, the staff were incredibly attentive, always smiling, and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Without a doubt, a truly unique and unforgettable experience!

The place is really well located close to the gate of the Yala sanctuary. It was very clean and comfortable. The management communicated with us very well before the beginning of our stay. On site staff were very proffessional and helpful. Breakfast was delicious, the bbq was amazing. You wake up to the song of million birds and perhaps get to see some peafowl near the pool. The place has such a relaxing atmosphere that we would go back in a hearbeat.

The room was very clean and big, with AC. Near to Yala national park. Very quiet at night, with a nice atmosphere and good options to have dinner by walk. The host, Malinga, was very kind: ready to counsel us and take us to great places. He offers a taxi service, so is a good option to go there from your previous location or go with him to your next destination in your trip.

I had an incredible experience at Jungle Haven Retreat! The setting deep in the Sri Lankan jungle is absolutely breathtaking. The staff was wonderfully welcoming and made us feel right at home. The houses were cozy and beautifully nestled in nature, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. One of the most unforgettable moments was the amazing dinner we had on the rock, with a fire burning beside us under the open sky—it was truly magical and unlike anything I've experienced before. The traditional Sri Lankan meals were another highlight—so flavorful and made with love. We had the most magnificent stay at Hilton Yala. Everything was perfect. You could really see that the hotel was newly built, everything in the room was perfect and designed to perfection and the rooms are very spacious. The personal was also super helpful and very friendly and catered all of our wishes. We even had the chance to see an elephant only a few meters away while we were laying on the pool and he entered the property which was amazing! Would definitely go back immeadiately.
