Staying at Marthese’s place was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed like family. The home was absolutely spotless—sparkling clean in every sense—and incredibly comfortable. You can truly feel the love and care she puts into every detail. Marthese is an incredible host. Her communication was fast, clear, and always helpful. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed—and more. Thanks to her, we had the chance to experience authentic Maltese culture in a way we never expected. The Aircon in all the rooms SAVED us in the summer heat. If you stay here, ask her for recommendations. She has the insider scoop on everything—restaurants, hidden gems, local spots—and honestly, she’s basically a local celebrity! The room facilities were all new as it is a new hotel, everything was super clean (they cleaned our room daily), we had complimentary bottles of water on the day of arrival, and the staff was very polite and helpful and everything we needed they have provided us with - I’ve asked them if there is a hairdryer in the room since it wasn’t included in the description of the booking and they said they will arrange for me to have one in my room. It is also important to mention that there was always hot water for a shower. Additionally, there are bus stops at a 5-10 min walk from the hotel, but you can also walk around easily because for example St. Julian’s bay is 10-15 mins away on foot and Sliema Ferry is 15 mins away.

We loved this hotel from the moment we arrived. The reception staff were incredibly polite and helpful. A special thanks to Nirosha, who went above and beyond to assist us with every request. The breakfast was great and suited both us and the kids perfectly. It was always a pleasure to return to the hotel after a day out exploring Malta.

Location is brilliant. Valletta is a small but beautiful city but there’s so much right on your doorstep staying here. Plenty of bars and restaurants round the corner. Also the Valletta food market is across the street which has a supermarket underneath it that sells all the toiletries/drinks/snacks that you usually want to pick up for the room. Room was lovely. The rooftop pool is something totally different. Sitting in a rooftop pool looking down on super yachts was a pretty cool experience. We didn’t arrive till just after midnight and staff were always really lovely.

Very well equipped hotel, with books and board games for guests to peruse, even has a basket of sun creams by the pool. The staff is helpful and kind, and the interior of the hotel is beautiful and unique. Walking distance from the airport, without it being loud from the planes, very calm and relaxing. Great as a hub to discover Malta, without being in the middle of noisy and busy tourist hot-spots.
