Cheap hotels in Raa Atoll

A beautiful island. Extremely well organised with large very clean accommodation. Great care is taken to ensure the beach and all other areas look immaculate. The staff are very enthusiastic and helpful. Food very good. The staff in the restaurants can’t do enough for you. The transfers to and from the international airport were well organised and trouble free. The seaplane trip was very enjoyable.

We had a wonderful time at Emeralds. After a week in another (Finolhu- even slightly more expensive) resort we arrived here and our impressions from the first resort were far exceeded :) Emeralds is really a deluxe all inclusive with no back doors and no hidden costs. Everything is included - even the daily refilled minibar with Prosecco, wine and snacks as well as the architecturally very attractive champagne bar on the water. Even the teppanyaki dinner is included, which you should definitely visit. chef Suderhan is a great and sympathetic cook. our villa host Kunal was always available and solved all our problems immediately. This service was the best we have ever had anywhere in the world. Our little daughter was looked after in the Kids Club and, thanks to Alina and Monex, even dared to stay there alone for the first time ever at a resort. All the staff were very nice to our little daughter. Especially Kasun from Pool Bar won her heart, and it's not that easy :) All the other guys at the pool bar f.e. Runak were great too. Food and drinks were excellent. A sommelier (I guess it must have been Joseph) showed up wherever we ate and had the best recommendations for drinks. Even though we usually do not visit a place twice we are already planning to go back to Emeralds :)

Alila has been the best experience of our life. I must thanks to all staff with your welcome after landing on the seaplane but especially to Mal and Imad because they have given us a wonderful stay. They have been helping us all the time, giving us attendance and giving us the best holidays of our lives and a wonderful honeymoon. Villa Lagoogn Water is the best option, with your private pool and the amazing views of the sea. We will repeat as soon as possible.

Staying at Vaadhoo View Inn has been one of the most memorable experiences of our lives. More than just the host, Ismail became our guide, our problem-solver, and even our photographer, capturing moments we will treasure forever. Every interaction was warm and genuine—from the evening coffees we shared in heartfelt conversation to his constant care in making sure everything was perfect for us. You can feel the soul he pours into everything he does, and that is what makes this place so special. We are endlessly grateful, and a piece of our hearts will always remain with them in Vaadhoo.
