Very clean and comfortable room. Breakfast was excellent, best Nasi Lemak. Our hosts were incredible, assisting with transport and booking hikes.

I liked everything, the structure that overlooks the river and the park Taman Negara with a magnificent view from both the room and the common area, excellent Wi-Fi, some restaurants immediately down the stairs of the structure but the thing that I appreciated most is the kindness and availability of the owner Ismael who accompanies you in everything and for everything you need! Super nice staff, we were surprised with breakfast and even dinner. Super tents, even with fairy lights, makes it very cozy. As it's about 10 minutes by car from the village, the pick-up and drop-off service was absolutely amazing. It has a small beach with a beach volleyball court to relax on. Everything was very cordial and helpful.

Rose was amazing!! She provided us with absolutely everything we needed, organised all of our tours and also took the time to drive us down to our tour and pick us up. She’s completely lovely. The room was very clean, in a nice quiet location and had great air conditioning. I know rose has only recently started so she doesn’t have many reviews yet but my boyfriend and I absolutely loved it here and couldn’t recommend it enough. She gave us great restaurant recommendations and helped us with everything we needed. Sending love to rose and would definitely stay here again :)

Durian Chalet felt like home. The staff were very kind and helpful, the rooms were clean, big, beautifully placed in the big property. I loved that my chalet was in front of a large patch of pandan, and it smelt wonderful. The chalet is located away from the main town square and that made it much quieter-something that I really wanted. Overall, I will definitely be coming back and staying here.

All features of the room seem quite new: floor, beds, shower & sink fixtures, etc. Everything very clean with no smells. There is instant hot water if you turn on the water heater, and the shower is in brand new shape. The staff offer a laundry service. The neighborhood is quiet, hotel is at the end of a street. Food options are easily within walking distance, and the river crossing is a 5 min walk down the slope. Best of all, you have the chance to see interesting birds from the terrace!
