It is very well placed, 10 min walk from the train station, with good connections to both Centraal station and Schiphol airport. Shops and cafes around, on both sides of a small canal, in a leafy neighborhood. There is free coffee and tea all day in the lobby and the staff is very friendly, they offered us croissants and a free breakfast one day. Rooms are on the smaller size, but comfortable, and we appreciated the heating was on and manually adjustable to our liking, while many hotels now on a saving mode.

Very nice & cozy hotel just on the reach of Amsterdam but also a good starting point to explore so much of rural area. Rooms are clean, access to lifts are regulated via room key (so even one more security level besides the cameras around the object). Staff is super helpfull & polite. Breakfast was magnificent. There was everything I wanted to see and more. Lots of fruits (even strawberries), English breakfast, great cheeses, ham, pancakes, pastries and you could even prepare yourself a mimosa. Cups for coffee and tea to go were available. Always enough food and always free seats. Our room was at the end of 7th floor and we could watch sunset from bed. Totally amazing! Also the best matrass and pillows I ever had at a hotel. Hotel is located directly at Noord metro station. It is great if you have for example the I Amsterdam card and you don't have to worry about taking a metro for a few stations. Amsterdam central station is 2 long stops away. Without this card you have to buy ticket for 1 hour for 3.40 EUR to get to the center (this is the cheapest ticket available). If you want to walk it is 3 km mostly through park to get to the border of city center. We were really happy with the location as we had the card so we travelled to the station closest to where we wanted to visit. Staff was very friendly especially at the breakfast and bar area. They were all very helpful.

Gorgeous building, lovely helpful staff, very clean, nicest breakfast I've had. Comfortable bed and amazingly soft pillows and duvet, powerful shower. A spa and pool which didn't get to use but looked very inviting. Right next to the train station. Perfect location. Well insulated tools didn't hear a sound from any neighbouring rooms. Would definitely recommend.

This hotel is so beautiful. From the moment you see it in its traditional glory and then you enter into a modern luxurious hotel. It is wonderful and the rooms are beautiful, spacious and have everything you need on a short trip. The location is perfect, right beside the train station, with an outdoor shopping facility, just a stones throw away, and a short cheap train ride to Amsterdam Central. This is the ideal spot if you want to be in a quiet location away from the hustle and bustle.
