Breakfast was excellent. The location was superb - considering three methods of transportation: by car, by bus and walking. Everything worked fine and the staff was willing to help you with all your questions. There is only few parking spots (15€/day) available at the hotel (located in the neighboring lot) but the staff gave an excellent advice to park your rented vehicle in the public car park (5€/day) just 3 blocks away. The rooftop pool and bar were a nice addition to a top quality experience.

Very clear instructions from Luís upfront about how to access the building. Also responded quickly to any questions. Studio is large, bed is comfortable, the room has AC which is nice. There is a coffee machine, and even a washing machine which comes in handy if you want to do laundry after hiking :-) The bathroom is clean and has a good shower. There is a Continente supermarket next door. Parking space is a big plus. The building feels safe and quiet, but is in close proximity of cafes, restaurants, etc.

Great amenities and flexible employee (we arrived late because we did not know our way in the region, but the employee meeting us was very lenient. The only thing was the noise outside, but I dont think it was particular to this apartment but more of a city thing. With the 3 rooms and 3 bathrooms, would absolutely recommend!

The apartment is just fantastic; the easiest way to describe it is home, far from home. The whole apartment is equipped to make you feel comfortable and welcome. The kitchen is superbly equipped (utensils, washing machine, dishwasher), and the living room (iron, hanger for your laundry). The location is great, close to shops, city centre and local bakeries and bars.

    The cleanliness of the hotel, staff were always nice and food was constantly refilled. Tennis courts were complimentary. Location is very good and there is a free bus service to Funchal.
