For me, it’s the perfect place to stay - whether just for a few nights or even a whole month. It has such an amazing vibe, and the interior makes you instantly feel at home. The volunteers were super nice and very attentive. The beds were super comfortable!! You really have everything you need: clean bathrooms, a well-equipped kitchen with dedicated space to store your things, and plenty of cozy spots to relax. I couldn’t have asked for a better stay – highly recommend!

Nice place with a lot of space. The host is very kind, he give us some advices about restaurant and hike. I appreciate the food available for purchase directly in the accommodation. I didn't use this option, I pre-purchased just in case but there were vegan options too.

Really beautiful property, nice facilities, and friendly staff - lots of outdoor areas to hang out, only 2 mins walk to a mini-supermarket. There is also a shuttle every day to different beaches depending on the surf, which is great if you don't have a car! It's in a small town so not much going on but great for relaxing!

Everything! Rooms are stylish, clean, with very comfortable matraces - I slept soooo good! Stuff at front desk is so nice and welcoming, I felt with my friend like visiting good friends not being at hotel. Table with water, tea, coffee and even tasty muffins and candies 24 hours per day available. Breakfast is continental served as buffet with eggs, bacon, peanut butter, chia and many, many more tasty things that are above the average standard. Close to the beach, hiking paths, cute harbour and huge public parking just next to it. So far the best spot we stayed during our portugese road trip. Fully recommended.

    Booked for one night and stayed three. Check the location on maps, before you book it ;) its a three km walk from the next bus stop, but the location is worth the little walk or just get a taxi. Martijn and Talea are great, one of the best hostels I ever stayed in. I'll be back.

    Everything. Really a superb hostel and Martijin is fantastic chilled out, friendly host. Quiet location, great layout in old house, great decor, terrace, views, great sized open plan dorm. Great for surfers or hikers. Great coffee.

    The way a hostel should be, a homely and cosy setting. The location might be a bit far away from everything but excellent if you want some peace and quiet. The owner is a very nice and helpful guy. And the dorm is very spacious with a balcony, what else can you want?

    Hilde the lady who looks after the property was so welcoming and friendly. She was so kind and very happy to help and offer advice. The pool was lovely, clean and well presented. The apartment was bright and airy and very clean. It was a super location for exploring the beautiful coast and beaches of western Algarve. We would definitely recommend. Thank you for a lovely stay 😁

    Super nice hostel, you feel like at home! The staff is extremely nice and you can talk openly with everyone. The location is also very clean and well maintained! This is my favourite hostel in Portugal, come back anytime 🫶🏼 The daily beach shuttle is also very well organised, so it's easy to get there without a car!
