A welcoming, lovely young family who makes you immediately feel like you're staying with friends! I spent 2 lovely days with Norbert, Monique and Randa and I enjoyed getting to know them over the meals which they share with their guests. This is the sort of place you'll remember fondly months after you've left Rwanda and that's because of the wonderful people who run it, who take their time to ensure you're comfortable and happy. I also appreciated their flexibility with my ever-changing plans as they accommodated my early arrival. The room was spacious and comfortable and the house was clean and full of love. The hosts have a background in tourism so can help arrange (and guide) any activity you may want to do. It's a little gem in Musanze and you'll be so happy you chose to stay here.

It was so quiet and chilled and the food was excellent. The staff were really friendly as were the other guests….. slept like a log, glorious views from our cabin and there was plenty to do (if u wanted to)…, We did a lovely boat trip around the other islands and a fantastic bike mountain bike ride thru rural Rwanda. We even stopped at a school to meet the children and see them in their classrooms…

William the manager speaks english and french. He is very reactive and helpful. The food was nice but above the place whre the lodge stands is perfect. On the lake shore with a sublime view on the volcanos for the sunset and the sunrise. A small piece of paradise. Highly recommended!

A recently renovated bed and breakfast situated in Ruhengeri, SAISH Stay features a bar. There is a private entrance at the bed and breakfast for the convenience of those who stay.

Especially at a town where it can be rainy it is important for me to have a hostel where I could hang around the whole day. And this is basically what I did at Masha's. All the people working there are so nice, the gallery is really interesting at it's just a really relaxed vibe. The home-cooked food was incredible and really appreciated after a hard hike. The location was perfect for hiking in the Volcanoes National Park. We had extra help with taking care of our muddy clothes too.
