All the animals made the place beautiful to stay. Waking up to feed the chickens and borrowing the dogs for a walk down to the river was wonderful. Virginia and John were great hosts, lots of helpful information, including a hand drawn map for the journey onwards. Highly recommend staying here, wish we could have stayed longer

I absolutely loved the garden and the breathtaking mountain views! The accommodation is perfectly situated—whether you're planning to hike or head up to Lesotho, the location couldn’t be better. The hosts were fantastic—warm, incredibly helpful, and always willing to answer any questions we had. The kitchen is beautiful and well-equipped, including an air fryer which is ideal for preparing light meals. That said, there are also several great restaurants nearby if you’d prefer to eat out. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and thoughtfully fitted with a heater to keep it cosy during winter. The full bathroom was a lovely bonus, perfect for a relaxing bath or a refreshing shower. Overall, a peaceful and comfortable stay—I’d highly recommend it!

It's a home away from home. The cabin is well stocked with everything you want and need. Quiet area and safe. The owner is super friendly and welcoming. I like that she asked for feedback in person before we left which is rare comparing with other establishements I have been.
