The Großglockner High Alpine Road can be accessed 50 metres from the hotel. The breakfast was the best I've ever had in any hotel, and the staff at the breakfast was very attentive and friendly. Our room was huge, with a great bathtub, two sinks, good sized balcony overlooking the town and a doublebed. There was also a minibar with a selection of drinks, and a tv. The location in Heiligenblut is also amazing. You could see the whole town from the balcony of our room, and the snow-covered mountains behind it. It's a very small town so the walk from the hotel to the "centre" takes only a couple of minutes.

The hotel is situated high up on the Grossglockner pass, it’s was an excellent stay, we enjoyed the views, evening meal, breakfast and the sauna and whirlpool. we would definitely recommend this hotel, the staff were all super friendly and very helpful. it was a shame it was foggy, but the weather changes very quickly at this altitude.
