We stayed here for two nights during our vacation in Quebec this year. Daniel and Denise gave us a warm welcome when we arrived late. They provided us with food for dinner and breakfast. So delicious. Most from their own garden. On the second evening they gave us a tour through their wonderful garden. We learned and tasted a lot. We would have loved to stay longer, but our route was already planned ahead. I recommend others to stay longer. Lac Saint-Jean and Fjord du Saguenay are easy to reach from here. It was the most beautiful location in a charming century home occupied by the same family for generations. Ste. Rose du Nord is a most stunning location and one can enjoy the view from the verandah. The nearby Rose Cafe provided a lovely dinner and is also a welcoming and vibrant place with great staff. Frederic was a most congenial host who served a delicious breakfast. We would definitely return!

The units provide views of the mountain and come with a washing machine, a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, and a shared bathroom with slippers and a hair dryer. A microwave, a toaster and fridge are also available, as well as a coffee machine and a kettle. At the guest house, units include bed linen and towels. I'm not a dog lover but was attracted by the price, location and great reviews. Incredible place. Very clean for starters - no dog hairs, e.g., on the inside, which I had been a bit worried about. And to my surprise I really loved THESE dogs - magnificent, strong animals but also well-behaved and gentle. They're obviously well-trained and well-treated. I almost didn't go on the morning walk, and that would have been a big mistake - it turned out (like for many people!) to be a highlight of my trip. I'd love to go back in the winter for the sledding. Also, as all reviewers rightly note, the owners are very friendly.
