Haus Stehlings features views of the Old Town of Monschau. The guest house provides guests with free WiFi and is located a 1 hour drive from Cologne. View from the apartment is why I booked and also the location is fantastic. Very spacious and the apartment has all the modern amenities you need, whilst retaining examples of the old architecture. We stayed on a Sunday (for the lovely Christmas market) and Monday during December and whilst everything closed on Monday, the apartment is a lovely place to relax. It was also clean and warm (with enough heating in place for the cold winter). Lastly, just relaxing and looking out the window is just amazing.

Easy walk to the town with a selection of excellent restaurants and a great place to explore Ahr Valley a bit further (we did a walk through the local vineyards for example).
