Run by a family, they were so helpful and kind. They even picked us up from the airport and arranged a taxi for our early ferry. The room was perfect, with a cute kitchen area and pool. Walk to town was easy - don’t let it put you off!

At the guest house, units come with a seating area. Awesome spot! We were welcomed by a friendly smile and our room was great! Bed was comfortable, hot water was perfect, and the inclusion of a small fridge and kettle were very helpful with saving a bit of money on breakfasts. Location is great - easy walk to the docks and close by to Concha for snorkelling. They offer all the most popular Isabela tours, and the prices they quoted us were much better than what we’d already pre-paid on Santa Cruz. Would recommend and will definitely be back!

Housed in a building dating from 2010, this apartment is 1.4 km from Los Alemanes Beach and 600 metres from Tortuga Bay. The apartment features family rooms. We visited Isabela, San Cristóbal, and Santa Cruz, and this was honestly one of the best places we stayed at during our trip. The place was comfortable, clean and peaceful, and the value for money really made it worth it. It’s a bit of a walk from the town center, but a quick $1 taxi ride gets you there in no time. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back on a future trip to the Galápagos. Sofía was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay.

This review is written by me but is headlined by Kathryn my friend who made the booking. 🤔La Casa de Amelia is a first rate operation. I stayed there for 9 nights very recently. There are three reasons why I rate this hostal so highly. Firstly, comfort. I had a full one bedroom apartment with all amenities. The unit is bright, very high ceilings, excellent AC, full kitchen, clean and has great Galápagos character. Secondly, value. This is incredible value! Thirdly and most of all, the hosts - they are such a charming and real couple. Anita and her husband Danielle are the real deal. They are most gracious. Thank you guys.

There is a private entrance at the bed and breakfast for the convenience of those who stay. The bed and breakfast features garden views, an outdoor fireplace, and free WiFi is available. Very professional approach from the owner! We were given a really good overveiw what to do where to go and which tours to go on. The rooms are modern and look just as good or even better than on the pictures, very clean, very comfortable! Also good common areas, facilities to use (kitchen, drying rack) and you can also rent snorkel and fins from the host if you like. The location is super, it may feel distant at first glance but really the 10minute walk is pure joy. Since its Rather small town it became our daily habit to walk to the town in the moring and back to our hotel passing the flamingos each night :) Very pleasant stay!
