Fantastic menu - particularly breakfast - kippers with a poached egg was my favorite - with greek yoghurt with berry coulis and chia, pepitas and prunes. Dinner menu was good - but breakfast was exceptional. Beds excellent. Staff a delight - felt like a local - genuine, warm, funny, engaging. Lounge was premium - very well done. Bar robust and cosy. Plenty of powerpoints for laptops.

The Mason Arms is located on Devon’s Jurassic Coast, just a 10-minute walk from Branscombe Beach. Dating back to the 14th-century, this property offers an award-winning restaurant, locally brewed ales and free parking. Really loved staying here, it was a beautiful room and the surrounding view from the terrace area was really gorgeous, with some very friendly cows right next door. The pub had a great selection of drinks and food. Everything was really high quality and delicious. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable.

Excellent view of the harbour from our room. The cottage is 700+ years old and may be the oldest in the village. The host was lovely and accommodating. She made us a good full English breakfast. Sooo quiet and peaceful with no cars in the village. The other guests were lovely -- all hikers walking the SW coast path.
