WE were greeted by really friendly staff at the bar, who quickly found details of our reservation and took us to our rooms. We ate in the restaurant, which offered nicely presented food at a decent price. Our steaks were cooked very well and served alongside proper chips. The team here works well together and the staff were all really helpful, pointing out historical details about the region. Our rooms were very comfortable with good facilities (tea and coffee) and were surprisingly quiet (this being a Saturday night). Our breakfasts were very good (eggs Benedict) and served quickly. Plentiful car parking.

Perfect location, walking distance into town. Beautiful room and everything was clean. Lovely details like the coffee/tea area, little fridge for the milk and orange juice too. Big basket of fruit, extra water was a great touch especially in the hot weather. If we are in the area again, we'll definitely stay here.
