All modern and spacious apartments have separate living rooms and kitchens. Each also offers a washing machine and free Wi-Fi. We informed the management of the estimated time of our arrival and told them we would get a taxi straight to the facility. When we arrived at the Westport train station we were met by a member of the management in a mini bus. Lovely surprise. When my husband and friend arrived much later that evening the kitchen was closed but they cheerfully reopened it and fed them with a fabulous plate of fresh fish and chips. The food was absolutely delicious and very plentiful. The owners and staff were wonderful, very warm and friendly. The apartment was very pleasant and comfortable. I cannot speak highly enough of the people of this warm and welcoming place. I hope to return there someday and very highly recommend it to people looking for a lovely vacation experience. Situated in Tierna and only 4.6 km from Rockfleet Castle, Roskeen house features accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. Martin Sheridan Monument is 45 km away and Foxford Woolen Mills Visitor Centre is 45 km from the bed and breakfast. We usually stay at hotels so we're a bit apprehensive but had a much nicer experience staying here. Michael was a great host very warm, welcoming, kind and put me and my 2 kids (5, 7 year old) at ease felt like we were staying with a good friend or family. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable and we had all the facilities we could want. We will all definitely stay again when we return to complete our climb up Croagh Patrick. We had the benefit of using a large fully equipped Kitchen, so we were able to prepare our own food at any time of our choice. It was very convenient. The location was in the Knock Town centre, ideal.
