Rooms at the Hotel Margherita have whitewashed walls and tiled floors. Each comes with a hairdryer and free toiletries in the private bathroom. What a wonderful hotel! Old town charm with modern amenities and only steps away from the sea. The staff is friendly and helpful. We throughly enjoyed ourselves.

Everything from staff, to room, to the cleanliness of the entire hotel, to the location, the views, the breakfast were excellent! I don’t write reviews often, or at all. I also did not want to write this one to gate keep this property😅 But they deserve the recognition. Book it with your eyes closed.

A recently renovated guest house in La Spezia and within less than 1 km of Castello San Giorgio, Lina Suites & Rooms has a garden, comfortable soundproof rooms and free WiFi. The property features garden and quiet street views, and is 29 km from Carrara Convention Center. The accommodation features a 24-hour front desk and a lift for guests. The accommodation is excellent. The room is extremely clean with comfortable beds. The hospitality was impeccable. The owner family was friendly and helpful both before our arrival and during our stay. We do not expect there is daily room cleaning service! The hotel is close to the train station (3 minutes by walk). Nearby areas is quiet at all times. It is a great base for hiking and travel to Cinque Terre. Highly recommended! 👍

SO clean and the nuns that run it are so lovely and helpful! Lovely modern rooms and comfortable beds! Air con was a life saver! Couldn't recommend enough!!

A recently renovated property, La Corte dei Desideri is situated in La Spezia near Castello San Giorgio, Technical Naval Museum and Amedeo Lia Museum. Among the facilities at this property are a lift and luggage storage space, along with free WiFi throughout the property. The property offers soundproof units and is set 30 km from Carrara Convention Center. I stayed there for four nights in April and was very happy to have chosen it. The location was excellent, close to the train station and very walkable. Loved that the balcony overlooked the street lined with the most fragrant orange trees, perfect spot to enjoy a glass of wine, As a solo traveler I felt very safe walking in the area, close enough to restaurants and the ferry to be within easy walking distance. The room was spotlessly clean , modern and very comfortable, lots of towels and lovely bath and hair products. Stefi made several suggestions about places to visit, I would have missed some lovely towns had she not suggested them. I would defiantly stay there again. Thank you Stefi for the lovely stay, sorry you had to come to look at the the not broken coffee maker.

The apartment was very comfortable and super clean. It’s very close to the station, but you can reach the city center in just a few minutes with bars and restaurants. The trains are a bit loud, but that’s the price of being so close to the station—and they provide earplugs for sleeping. I would definitely recommend staying here!
