Friendly and attentive staff. Afternoon coffee and cake on the rooftop was a highlight. Breakfast is delicious. Best hotel of our entire trip! And the rooftop ended up being one of our favourite places to be in Shella.

Featuring an outdoor swimming pool, Banana House and Wellness Centre is located in Shela village, Lamu 2.7 km from Gallery Baraka. The property is set 2.8 km from Lamu Fort. The place is amazing, and the service is even better. They take great care of you and stay attentive in case you need anything throughout your stay. Special mention to Olivers, Michael, and Jackie :) I’m definitely coming back!

It was a great stay. Immanuel was incredible, helping us with directions, turn down service, recommendations and breakfast. We stayed at Ttunu House in January 2025, and it was simply incredible! The house is beautiful, lovingly restored, and tastefully furnished. There is truly not a single thing to complain about! The Ttunu House team—Cornelius, Stephen, and Jackson—did everything to make our stay perfect and unforgettable. Stephen cooks whatever guests desire, with only the cost of groceries charged, while the service itself is included. Upon request, we had the best tuna steaks of our lives, served with grilled vegetables and Kachumbari (a Kenyan tomato salad). For those looking for an extraordinary vacation far from tourist hotspots but without sacrificing luxury, Ttunu House is the perfect choice! We would love to come back.

The place had a warm and inviting atmosphere, and the accommodations were very comfortable. It truly felt like a home away from home.

ShelaにあるMilimani Villa-Fully airconditioned Villaは、山の景色を望むユニット（無料WiFi利用可）、屋外プール、庭、共用ラウンジを提供しています。このヴィラでは、テラス、バー、バーベキュー施設を提供しています。... The house is wonderful, spacious, luxury and quiet. Bassam is a great host and the staff are excellent too. We had a great time exploring from here or just enjoying doing nothing much at all. It is a bit outside Shela, but not that far and a nice village walk.
