The house is on a very quiet street (good sleep) but if you wanna go out its a max. 5 min walk and youre in the middle of action (for Battambang relationships) Very modern, nice bathroom, nice breakfast (fresh fruits as i wished) Had the possibility to meet some friends of Bun…it was a blast!

We tried some traditional Cambodian desserts they'd made which were lovely. They also arranged transport for us with an amazing, friendly local Cambodian driver named Fie, who we couldn't praise enough! Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Battambang.

The shared kitchen is appreciable and you can refill your water bottles for free. Breakfast is plentiful for 3.75 usd half baguette, tea and coffee, homemade jam, fruit and egg. Our hosts welcomed us with a smile, they explained to us how the room and the homestay worked during the stay, they are not intrusive they adapt to travelers. The garden is beautiful with large trees that keep the freshness and a large pond with fish. If you are looking for a homestay with a family and caring welcome you will be in the right place. On the other hand, if you are more used to resorts or boutique hotels this place will not be for you.

The kindness of Saro family's made me feel at home. Highly recommended.

The hosts were incredibly welcoming, always ready with a smile, and eager to share stories about the local culture and way of life. The room was simple but clean and comfortable, with a fan and mosquito net provided. What made this stay special was the authenticity. Every morning, I woke up to the sound of birds and the smell of homemade Khmer breakfast – delicious and made with fresh ingredients from the garden. I had the chance to help cook dinner one evening, which turned into an unforgettable cultural exchange. The homestay is surrounded by beautiful countryside, and the hosts were kind enough to lend me a bicycle to explore the nearby villages, temples, and rice fields. It was peaceful, scenic, and gave me a real glimpse into rural Cambodian life. If you’re looking for a genuine, heartwarming experience beyond the usual tourist spots, I can’t recommend this homestay enough. It’s perfect for travelers who want to slow down and connect with locals in a meaningful way.
