Sharing dinner with the family and their friends was very special too. Highlights would definitely be my adventures with Esaro. I highly recommend booking a tour(s) with him.

You also have one free way to the city center with tuktuk. They also take great care of you and help you if you need assistance to plan your day in battambang. The restaurant and breakfast are extremely good, specially the khmer food (try the nom ban chok). Probably the best hotel i ever visited.

Every morning, I woke up to the sound of birds and the smell of homemade Khmer breakfast – delicious and made with fresh ingredients from the garden. I had the chance to help cook dinner one evening, which turned into an unforgettable cultural exchange. The homestay is surrounded by beautiful countryside, and the hosts were kind enough to lend me a bicycle to explore the nearby villages, temples, and rice fields. It was peaceful, scenic, and gave me a real glimpse into rural Cambodian life. If you’re looking for a genuine, heartwarming experience beyond the usual tourist spots, I can’t recommend this homestay enough. It’s perfect for travelers who want to slow down and connect with locals in a meaningful way.
