The staff were super friendly and very helpful in making our stay comfortable and our onward journey seamless. The breakfast, lunch and dinner were beautifully presented and excellent value.. We hired bikes (organised by the hotel) which were great for getting to and around the ancient city. Highly recommend a stay at Wildesacpe.

Perera, the owner and his wife are the sweetest people, they cook really amazing food. They served us a lot (i think there were about 7 types) of homemade curries (my favourite was the jackfruit curry). The rooms were very big and the beds really comfy. The bathroom is basic but has the basics covered, we had hot water all the time although, to be fair, we didn t really need it. The place was very very clean. I would absolutely recommend it

I truly enjoyed my freedom here, and this stay has become one of the most unforgettable journeys I've had. We booked two of the three rooms and had the best stay here. Uppila the owner/host picked us up from the bus stop and he made our stay really enjoyable. Making connections with his family was a highlight. His wife cooked delicious Sri Lankan meals for us both breakfast and dinner, and catered to my friend's coconut allergy. We nearly didn't book this place because it was so cheap and we thought it might be substandard, however I can say it was just delightful, large basic room with mosquito net (no mossies in my room), a large big verandah looking out onto the garden. Uppila took us on a free guided night walk around his property to look for wildlife. Uppila booked our Ayurvedic massages, drove us there and waited. He organised a tuk tuk to the ruins. He was always up for a chat and we felt cared for. He was just so kind and friendly and open and honest. I feel privileged to have met him and his family. Stay here, you will love it!

Small rooms ,Budget rooms and Standard rooms are located in main building which has 10 rooms and there is no any balcony in this rooms The staff was extremely friendly and went out of their way to make sure I had a good stay. Unfortunately, it rained the afternoon I was there so didn’t get to enjoy the pool, but it looked great and well kept.
