The breakfast at the hotel was the best one we had during our stay in Mexico and we went quite a few places. We tried the restaurant at dinner as well and it was very good. The location was perfect as it is quite central and less than a 10 min walk to the central plaza. Much like most first-time tourists in Mexico, initially we thought we would only use Uber for safety reasons but we felt very safe and walked at all times of the day (and night). In the evening the area has people around but it's not noisy. Honestly, this was the best value-for-money booking I've had in a long time. Three of the four rooms we booked were enormous and the queen size beds were incredibly comfortable.

Offering a heated pool, spa centre and fitness centre, Barcelo Mexico Reforma is situated in Mexico City. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar and a la carte restaurant. Private parking is available on site. I thought this was a great hotel and would definitely recommend it. The staff were great and although I speak some Spanish they also all spoke English. The wifi was strong, the breakfast was excellent and the location ideal.

This 5-star hotel is located in the Zocalo, the main plaza at the city centre in Mexico City. The hotel features historic architecture, a gourmet restaurant offering views of Zócalo Plaza and the National Palace as well as free WiFi. Often, the value of actual hospitality is underrated in the hospitality industry, and it's overshadowed by fancy facilities and frills. Not at Gran Hotel, where the staff treats you like their own guest. They are warm and will go out of their way to help you out. Oh, and the hotel itself is a heritage site with exceptional facilities & a location to kill for! Absolute, must visit. If I am ever in Mexico City again, I am staying at Gran for sure.

Berakfast is amazing at a wonderful location. 24 hour cafe is pretty good option to get food and driks whenever you want.
