Francisco speaks excellent English, helped us book tours and was very responsive on WhatsApp during our stay, he also allowed us to store our luggage before our overnight bus. Location is about a 25 minute walk from the main centre of town with the tourist attractions, we liked walking around the neighbourhoods so this was't an issue. The street is very quiet which allowed us a peaceful sleep but still has several restaurants within a few minutes walk if you don't want to go into the centre of town (we really liked Tlayudas El Negro, La Cevicheria Oaxaca and the street Memelitas across the road). Is also only a 10 minute walk to a large supermarket.

The cafe - casa del surfer, on site had amazing food. The hosts provide a guide to local restaurants/cafes too which was super helpful. Did a surf lesson with mapache surf adventures as recommended by casa badu and would highly recommend this too.

Boasting full-day security, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. The accommodation offers luggage storage space and a concierge service for guests. We had a great stay here- the room was clean and felt premium. The internet was great and we loved the facilities. Everyone we encountered (guests and staff) were lovely. You can tell that a lot of care has been put into this hotel and the experience. Would definitely stay again!

The staff of the hotel were fantastic! they were very friendly and answered everything when needed even if they were not in the place! They answered our reservation very fast at last minute at night and the check in process was great at midnight. They made us feel safe in our last minute situation and the attention was great! Thank you for everything, if we go back to Mazunte for sure will be staying here again!
