I loved how I could enjoy the serenity of being alone, fully immersed in the peaceful surroundings. At the same time, the backpacker has a great place to meet travelers from all over the world and exchange life stories. It was the perfect balance of solitude and social cronnection. And then there’s Tony, He is not just a wonderful host but also a warm and friendly person who loves meeting new people. He shared so many interesting stories with us—especially about his animals and the experiences that come with raising them. His passion and kindness made the stay even more memorable. Tony, thank you for creating such a cozy and special place. After a long year of busyness, I finally had the chance to slow down and enjoy a truly wonderful holiday in your little paradise. Loads of awesome things around in walkable distance. The owners also sent you an itinerary that you could follow. All in all great little spot.

The room was clean and modern and the hosts were so helpful. They sent us some brilliant guides that we used to see the city, they were responsive to our messages and sent a staff member to say hello when we arrived. There was even some bread provided in the communal area, in case we got hungry. We did, and it was delicious - we think it was coffee flavoured. Do note that the private bathroom is just across the hallway, but the place was lovely and quiet and was in no way an issue at all. Would absolutely recommend this place.

It is a beautiful cozy hostel for ladies. I loved the interior and the plants outside the door. Very good location. The owner was very nice and helpful. 4 beds in one room. I made friends with the girls in the same room. It was a memorable trip although I only had 3 days. I want to come back to Penang and I will stay here again! とても素敵なインテリアの女性専用ホステル。古い建物があるエリアにあるので近所を歩くだけで楽しい。一部屋に平置きのベッドが4つ。同じ部屋の子たちと仲良くなって一緒にごはん食べたり山に行ったりして楽しかった。また泊まりたい。

I love this hostel! They have open mic nights on Thursdays that were really fun and they also did a few other events like movie and game nights. I met some of the coolest people at this place and we ended up traveling together for a while. Can’t recommend this place enough — especially for solo travelers. They also keep the place really clean and are right next to the shopping/bar/restaurant area.
