The location was easy to get to, and close enough to things that we could walk to dinner, stores and enjoy a stroll. It was only a few minutes drive to the town centre. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and the hotel itself was absolutely lovely and well designed. The room was comfortable with good beds and cold air conditioning. The rooms were also very clean and the main common areas were clean as well. Breakfast was also absolutely delicious.

Yves and his wife Corrine have clearly put their heart and soul into making their guests stay as enjoyable as possible. The pool, the rooms, the breakfasts (with an incredible variety of homemade jams), the greenery - every aspect of the property is meticulously curated to create a tranquil, relaxing, and absolutely ideal stay. I really can't recommend it more strongly.

I rarely bother writing reviews but I enjoyed my stay at Hostel Azul so much, I thought I would leave a review on this occasion. I treated myself to the queen room, a Christmas present to myself! It was spacious, the bed was very comfy, the huge walk-in closet also had a modern clothes airer and the bathroom was large and clean and well lit. It all felt very modern. The pool, hammocks and the lounge chairs outside were great for relaxing and the large fridge came in useful, especially the ice and water dispenser. There was a choice of breakfasts. The tours I booked with the hostel were well-ran with very professional guides and transportation people. The owners of the hostel couldn’t have been more helpful, happy to their spend time with the people staying there and answering all the questions I had. They made me feel like family!
