No aircon but surprisingly didn’t need it in February. This is a long way from shops or restaurants but luckily the meals here are excellent and even though there is no menu the food is delicious at every meal and varied. We were there for 7 nights but always something different. The boat ride to go anywhere is from $10 per person or $15 to redfrog beach but then you have to pay $5 entrance fee. If you want a quiet but comfortable stay this is the place. Benoit and Fabienne are great hosts

We loved everything about the ecolodge. Dinner was always excellent. There were monkeys and red frogs. (We didn’t see the caimans).

Rooms are spacious enough (we stayed 2 adults + 2 kids), with an amazing view of the ocean. The hotel has an in-house restaurant "pier 19" that is also really good and with a lot of options. Another plus, they have coffee, tea and drinking water available for free at all times for the guests. Location is great, in the main island "Isla Colon", yet is not in the middle of all the restaurants and bars, so is very quote and peaceful, but anyways within a 5 min walk to where all the action is..., is a perfect combination.

Couples love the location - rated 9.5 for two-person trips. I liked everything. It was my 4th time staying there, and the place never disappoints. The kitchen is spacious, clean and well equipped, the staff are friendly but discreet, the location is the best.

The bed and breakfast has family rooms. Very pretty location among large tropical trees. Carmen and Marcel are incredible hosts. For four days you feel like part of a family with the hosts and other guests. The breakfast is large and flavorful and the dinners combine great food with fun company. We also had two sloths hanging out in the nearby trees.

The people at Kawi, who was refered to by the apartment made for a great tour.
