The staff, however, is absolutely the best: both Anne and Vítor were super considerate and helpful, our car broke down 5 minutes away on arrival and they both gave us rides on different days, Vítor even went around with us to several car shops trying to find us a fix. We'll definitely be back!

Beautiful courtyard with a well, 150+ year old flower tree and cosy spots to sit and relax. the owner beautifully refurbished the house from 1886 himself. He also gives great local recommendation. we can highly recommend to stay at his place!

We have done a lot of travelling and this is right up there as one of the best places we have ever stayed

A recently renovated property, Casa das Marias is set in Vila Nova de Milfontes near Franquia Beach, Sao Clemente Fort and Foz do Rio Mira. Among the facilities at this property are room service and private check-in and check-out, along with free WiFi throughout the property. The accommodation offers a shuttle service, while a bicycle rental service is also available. This place was amazing. Excellent quiet location and the room was large, exceptional clean and comfortable. Extra touches included home baked cookies in the room and delicious cake and a wonderful selection of tea and coffee in the common kitchenette area. The owner, Teresa welcomed us and provided great information about things to do and see. We went to one of the restaurants she recommended and it was amazing. Highly, highly recommend
