The place is so beautiful, full with details in the decoration; quiet and peaceful. I can only recommend everyone to stay here! We wished we could have stayed longer. We also had the very rare opportunity to share the week with the NGO founders who were visiting from Spain to conduct ongoing business. They are beautiful, humble people who have sacrificed so much for others in needs. They immediately earned our respect. - There are many interesting activities to do around the lodge, all run by locals, in partnership with the lodge (e.g., bird watching on a boat on the lake, vanilla production tour, coffee production tour, visit to the local market, meeting the children in the school, etc.)
