Situated across the street from the famous Shipshewana Auction & Flea Market, Farmstead Inn and Conference Center is located in the heart of Shipshewana Amish Country and features an indoor pool, indoor basketball court and ping-pong room and an outdoor gazebo with a playground. Free WiFi is available. Breakfast was very good, coffee tasted great. It was very convenient to stay there to go to a play and shopping.

At the hotel, all rooms have a desk. All guest rooms will provide guests with a fridge. We stayed here for a college visit the next day. Was amazed at the cleanliness and how huge the room was. Shower was huge as well. Staff was very friendly and breakfast was delicious.

For me, it was an unexpected, oh wow, experience. Parking is on the street and was no issue. There are plenty of spaces and no crime in the area. The price is amazing. The one potential issue would be the lack of an elevator. If the first floor is booked, you'll have to take the gorgeous stairs. Extra points, a lot of extra points, for providing a real coffee pot with fresh ground coffee that doesn't come in a plastic bag and big porcelain mugs to drink it from.
