It was our best accommodation in Sri Lanka so far! The room and bathroom were clean, the water warm, the view from the balcony spectacular. The bed was big and comfy as well. The host was very kind and hospitable, he helped us with renting the scooter, prepared very tasty breakfasts with fresh fruits and even checked on us after we left for the further travelling :) the contact was unproblematic, right after we arrived we were given the numbers (phone and WhatsApp) that we can contact anytime we need something.

Great view from the balcony. I enjoyed birdwatching from there in the morning. Sunrise. Comfortable beds. Spacious room. Bath and shower! Ceiling fan and good mosquito nets (no mosquitos). Kind staff who did everything they could to help. Restaurant on premises. Nice walks straight from the hotel in the tea plantation. Off road parking. Secure and safe.

I don' t have the words to describe how beautiful is this property, how nice and welcoming are all the people that work there and how pleasant and memorable was out stay there. I will try to explain why you should definitely stay there: 1. The staff, especially Sri - these are incredible people, who were not just doing their job, but who did the impossible to make our stay more comfortable and pleasant. They were always smiling, helped us with transport and tours and made us feel like a celebrity. 2. The food - the most delicious meals for our two weeks stay in Sri Lanka. The chef should definitely get a Michelin star. 3. The garden - lovely, well maintained garden, where we had breakfast and dinner. 4. The house - beautiful, old colonial building, which is very well preserved without any big renovation. It is a place for connoisseur - you can feel the spirit of the old times. 5. The surroundings - the building is in the middle of the tea fields. The views are breathtaking. 6. The tea tour - it was really good. Totally recommend it. With few words - it is a luxurious place, where the luxury is not in possessions, but in the attention, the attitude and the unforgettable memories.

What a location! Al the elegance and charm of a Colonial bungalow sat at the heart of a function tea plantation! The Bungalow was a little slice of heaven and the team running it could not have done more to make me feel welcome and see to my every need. The staff were exceptional. Especially, Dilshan, Kamalini, Kannan and Ravi, were very friendly and provided a personalised service. The location is ideal if you're looking to be amid green tea plantations and with zero disturbance. Complete serenity.

I felt safe as a female solo traveller. The view is gorgeous up there! The room with the balcony is amazing. It’s really clean and the man working there makes sure you have a comfortable stay. You shouldn’t mind walking a steep path for around 10min to get to the house.

Staying at Bluechip Summer Bungalow was absolutely magical. The location, right in the middle of a tea plantation, and the beautiful British-style house surrounded by gardens make you feel part of Nuwara Eliya’s history. Our room was huge, with the most comfortable bed we had during our trip in Sri Lanka. The staff was extremely attentive and professional and the food was simply outstanding.They even arranged a walk for us to Lovers Leap waterfall, which is easily accessible from the hotel and was a perfect experience. A truly authentic stay in “Little England”. Highly recommended for anyone looking for charm, comfort, and a genuine atmosphere.

The room is small but has everything you need and is perfectly clean. The shower is the best I had in 3 weeks in Sri Lanka, great water pressure and it got really hot! The WiFi was great too, strong enough to stream and download videos. The breakfasts were absolutely incredible! I was given a completely different breakfast every morning of my stay and each time it was absolutely delicious, some of the best food I ate in Sri Lanka. Finally the staff are so lovely, I will remember their kindness and hospitality for a long time ❤️
