We absolutely loved our stay here the hotel is like a little oasis in the jungle. The rooms were absolutely beautiful we stayed in both Peppercorn Cottage and one of the suites and loved them both. They are tastefully decorated and the design is incredible. The highlight for us was the infinity pool, we have stayed in some beautiful places on our honeymoon in Sri Lanka, but this infinity pool is second to none it looks even better than the photos! The service throughout our stay was also amazing and we loved the private waterfall.

Huge spacious, spotlessly clean room with incredible views. Absolutely loved the big beds with white crisp sheets. We were very tired and smelly from the hike the Pekoe trail, Shan took such good care of us, did a huge load of smelly washing and provided hot tea on arrival. We were so grateful!! Dinner was fabulous with lots of cold beers. Thank you to Shan, so respectful, interested and interesting. Highly recommended

The service was one of the best we’ve ever experienced. Everyone was extremely attentive and took the utmost care of us. The food is another big topic: it was exceptionally good, so I would highly recommend having lunch and dinner, even when it’s not included in the fare. Lastly, the location and the view were simply stunning. From the hotel itself you can explore the tea plantations without any other tourists (unlike in other tourist hotspots). Moreover, some of the hotel employees may join you on hike and show you some nice trails.

We had a fantastic stay – this is SUCH a lovely place. The rooms a lovely – sparkling clean, comfortable and the views from the various terraces are astounding. We received a warm welcome from the couple who own and run the place, we loved the relaxed atmosphere and felt very much at home. The owner speaks good English and knows all there is about the area and will help you with your plans. We really loved being here, and in Haputale, which was a lovely, calm alternative to Ella. We recommend this place without hesitation and will come back to stay if we do get the chance – I hope we will 😊

We like the hospitality, the kindness of the hosts, they are very helpfull and very attentive to their customers. The place is awesome with a wonderful view. It is in the mountain, in the nature, you have a lot of walks possible, and you have tea trees everywhere. You can walk to reach some beautiful places around. It is a wonderful place you can see animals and hear the birds. The food is the best meal we had in Sri Lanka. Honestly it would be a mistake to not taste it. Thank you for everything it was much more than expected.

Mr Norman and her wife were very friendly and their customer service was superb. We felt like we visited our parents. Kids felt like they were in grand parents’ house. Very decent people. This is a 100yrs old Bungalow, very beautiful and well maintained. The garden is very beautiful.
