Located in Hatton, within 41 km of Gregory Lake and 32 km of Adam's Peak, White House Bungalow Hatton provides accommodation with a terrace as well as free private parking for guests who drive. It was our best accommodation in Sri Lanka so far! The room and bathroom were clean, the water warm, the view from the balcony spectacular. The bed was big and comfy as well. The host was very kind and hospitable, he helped us with renting the scooter, prepared very tasty breakfasts with fresh fruits and even checked on us after we left for the further travelling :) the contact was unproblematic, right after we arrived we were given the numbers (phone and WhatsApp) that we can contact anytime we need something.

Very well equipped and clean rooms. Two bathrooms available. The owner was lovely and super friendly. He organized a transport for us last minute when our pre booked transport was cancelled.

The place is very clean and neat, we had fresh flowers in the room. The towels and bed linen are clean and feel nice and fresh. The location is up the hill, not close to the city centre, but very close to tea plantations and a nice 10 min road to Gregory lake. The owner is very kind and made sure to extend our stay when we requested, as well as arrange tuk-tuks whenever we needed one. Overall one of the best stays in Sri Lanka so far, highly reccommend.

Even though Nuwara Eliya was cold and raining, I got 2 blankets to use. While I arrived, they provided welcoming hot tea. And the breakfast the next day was really good with various options. And the host even waited with me for the bus going to the train station. The location is between the post office and the lake Gregory, which were within walking distance for 30 mins to each of them. It was a good stop in the town.

Our hosts, Ruban and Murali, were fantastic - attentive, and helpful. Very knowledgeable about the Pekoe Trail and gave us good advice for our walk.

Staying at this hotel felt like stepping into an old movie full of authenticity and elegance. The atmosphere was both luxurious and comfortable, with quick and friendly service all around. We were a group of different ages, even with teenagers, and everyone loved it—some of us didn’t even want to leave the hotel! I stayed at the Owner’s Cottage, and the room, the view, and all the details were simply amazing. The manager, Mr. Krishantha, was extremely kind and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. Our stay included breakfast, afternoon tea, and dinner, so we barely had to spend anything extra. All of the staff were more than wonderful. This will definitely not be our last visit!
