Great location just a few minutes walk down to the main street. The room was large and very clean and comfortable, with tea and coffee provided. We were also given an iced tea welcome drink. The balcony area is nice to relax on and the upstairs restaurant has beautiful views and a nice big couch and hammock to chill in if you need some downtime but don’t want to be stuck in your room. The staff were all super friendly. Good hot showers with decent pressure. Wifi worked well.

A nice, attractive location overlooking the valley. A proper nature feel, in among the local greenery, fresh air and wildlife. Run by a lovely family who will do whatever they can to make your stay enjoyable. Tasty and substantial local breakfast. Rooms are large and comfortable, mosquito nets available, and the bathroom sink 'waterfall' feature was a fun novelty. Several areas where you can sit and enjoy the views and nature with a drink in the evening.

Large family room with mosquito nets and a big verandah with comfortable chairs looking out into the jungle… monkeys in the trees and on the deck in the morning. About 5 minutes walk down the hill onto town. Good breakfast

We really enjoyed our stay at Jaye's Homestay. The room is quite big, nice hot shower (very good pressure) and the breakfast is phenomenal. We were vegetarians and it was no problem for them to adapt. They have a mosquito net which is always nice and was needed. For the Little Adam's Peak hike you can start directly from there (45 min).

We stayed in the Treehouse which was absolutely amazing! The views from the room were unreal. The food was gorgeous, especially the 5-curry special. Delicious breakfast. The restaurant is a lovely setting. You are surrounded by amazing plants and wildlife. The staff are very nice. Beautiful monkeys peering into the room! Good mosquito net.

everything! near to the centre but a bit out of the way, so peaceful, really large rooms with lovely interiors, comfy beds, mosquito nets, very effective fans and lovely bathroom! proper hot water! We also had a wide and cool veranda with a view across the hills. we absolutely loved this place and thought it the best value of all our stays in Sri Lanka for over a month! The team there are also truly friendly, helpful and accommodating. we wished we had more than one night there! we would highly recommend Okreach cottages!

Modern and clean room with private bathroom and hot shower. Equipped with comfortable bed, mosquito net, fan and towels. We also got an electric kettle and hairdryer when we asked for. Each room has outside sitting area with beautiful views. Breakfast was plenty and changed everyday. It’s a quiet and peaceful area, 20min walk from the center of Ella. Fair price of 3500rs per night including breakfast. We booked for 5 nights but stayed 8 nights in total. Definitely recommend!
