The “tents” (it is more of a 5 star hotel suite) are clean, spacious, fully equipped (private wifi and AC) and comfortable. We also had a private jacuzzi. Besides, the food is exceptional (one of the best we have had in Sri Lanka). We did the one day safari and it was certainly one of our favorite days of our entire trip. You get to see many animals while being accompanied by a wildlife specialist (ours was Kusar and he is very knowledgeable and friendly). Staff from the hotel met us inside the national park to bring us a delicious Sri Lankan lunch. Finally, the staff of the hotel is amazing. Boasting a garden and views of garden, Wild Trails Yala by Suri is a recently renovated luxury tent situated in Yala, 14 km from Tissa Wewa. This 5-star luxury tent offers a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage space. The luxury tent features rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. Amazing property, the Tent is a very cozy room and the staff was amazing. Uditha received super well and helped us with everything we needed. We stayed 3 nights and 2 days, and had a very early safari in both days. Uditha provided a breakfast for us to bring along and eat in our safari, and gave many tips about the region. We had pré-booked our safaris and lunch already, but if you need they can arrange for safaris and/or lunch as well. On the morning of our checkout we also did a nice bush walk around the property to say our goodbyes to Yala. The rooms have air conditioning, fan, hairdryer and good wifi. Definitely will recommend to friends that come to visit the Yala National Park!

Yala Lake View Cabanas is situated near the Yodha Lake. Located in Tissamaharama, it's takes a 15 minute drive to Yala National Park and 20 minutes drive to Kataragama and Kirinda Beach.

All the cabanas with a seating area, offer lake views and free Wi-Fi. Free private parking is available at the property. Each Cabanas has a flat-screen TV, mini bar, electric kettle and desk. Private bathroom comes with a shower, hairdryer and free toiletries. Typical artisanal village the tent is big and luxurious.

Towels and bed linen are available in the luxury tent. The property has an outdoor dining area.

Ranminitenna Tele Cinema Village is 19 km from the luxury tent, while Kataragama Temple is 29 km from the property. Mattala Rajapaksa International Airport is 40 km away. When I booked there weren't a lot of reviews but all of the reviews were fantastic so I assumed that it was just newer and didn't have a lot of reviews. This was one of the only times that I felt let down by booking.com reviews. The staff at the place was very warm but there were more negatives about the property than positives.

Located 15-minute drive away from Yala National Park, Yala Dream Park features a garden and barbecue. Tissa Wewa is 8 km from the property. Free WiFi is provided throughout the property.

The property can arrange for Safari on a private jeep. the treehouse and tent are a perfect place to calm down and enjoy nature. the owner was very involved from the moment we booked, making sure we drove the most efficient way and even picked us up when we arrived in a town nearby. they also took us on safari and went above and beyond making sure we saw as much wildlife as possible. also we enjoyed the bbq dinner (prepared by his son) at their place. truly an unforgettable experience which we highly recommend!
