The staff made sure our unit was ready as quickly as possible and then came and got me from the bus stop. We enjoyed the hot tub on the deck over looking the ocean, we had requested a bottle of wine and it was in the fridge chilling for us. Since we had an early start planned they brought up our plentiful breakfast the night before. And the views! You need to be able to climb hills to each elipsoid but it’s totally worth it when you get there.

The setting is very remote and private, but you have everything that you need. The houses are very modern and very well arranged, with the view to the ocean. The area around is simply fascinating, as the nature is really beautiful and there is enough possibilities for making a walking tours. Almost no tourists. One can enjoy the misterious Costa del Morta. In 5 min.drive from Cabanas there is a small village/town Camarinas, and there one can find restaurants and shops. Two evenings we were in Taberna do Bico, and I can recommend this place: exceptional fresh fish and seafood, and a very good choise of wines. In addition the place is dine in a modern way and with taste.
