The owner was SO friendly, responsive and helpful. The location was perfect for us; quiet, walking distance to a few restaurants and a market, and with a beautiful view. The sleeping arrangements worked great for our family of 4. I loved the pretty dishes and the flowers on the balcony. I enjoyed drinking my coffee there and taking in the view. The attention to detail and the love and care put into this chalet make it so obvious that the people who are running it also own it. We will absolutely come back at some point!

The apartment is beautifully designed and well-equipped with modern amenities, making it easy and enjoyable to cook all our meals. The local grocery store had everything we needed, so we never had to leave Embd by car during our two-day stay. It was also convenient to do laundry right in the apartment. As a bonus, we even spotted a few yaks on a hike up the mountain!

We feel very lucky to have found Chalet Valerie for our little family vacation. The apartment was clean and comfortable with an incredible view of the mountains and a beautiful, well curated garden. The apartment is perfectly located with easy access to town and hiking/biking trails. And the owner is very kind and accommodating.

A very spacious, clean apartment, full of appliances. Large bathroom with a tub/shower. Very short walk to the ski bus - ski pass provided by the owner. Lovely owner available to answer any questions. Walking distance to the nearest supermarket and restaurants in Saas-Grund. Everything was great at Alpina! It was a very cozy hotel at a very reasonable price. Location was perfect and literally right across the street from the gondola and walking distance to the grocery store, ski stores, and other restaurants. Hotel and restaurant staff was wonderful (especially Summer), the spa was amazing, ski room was very convenient, view from the room was beautiful, and the food at the restaurant was very good. Also, no issues with noise - the walls seemed quite thick. The spa was a really great feature (and free!) - we would book the time we wanted to go the night before and it was the perfect way to wind down after skiing (steam room, sauna, hot tub, spa beds). We are very pleased with our experience staying here and will definitely be coming back if we plan to ski again in Switzerland. We have already been telling friends and family to come stay here! Thank you Summer and co. for being a wonderful hosts to us!!
