The location was perfect, about 3 kilometers to the nearest town. There were many trails to go on nearby with incredible views. The property is closed in by fences making it perfect for kids or pets. There were many goats, chickens and horses on the property, the animals were very friendly! We had everything we needed in the house to cook and be comfortable. The beds were very comfortable and the house was very clean. Hot showers, beautiful sunsets and very peaceful atmosphere. The house is shared, like a very large duplex (one big house on one side and one on the other) but thanks to the entrances on oposite sides there is plenty of privacy and space. The best part was the kindness and hospitality from Esther, Kevin and Erin!

The Vi l'Art Wine Lodge was chosen to us due to the location and extremely good rating, place is and 1800's country house close to Cava region and Barcelona. Montserrat is easily accessed from here. Also great hiking areas are just nearby. Hosts Laura and Lalo are keeping the place in great shape, the food they make is great and the service level is something totally else than what you can wait. Lalo is a great cook and the vine's they chose to the meals were so good! We were there during hot season, but the location close to the hills and how they make the house work makes it a cool oasis even during hot days. We hope to make it back there some day. One of the best experiences in our many visits in northern Spain and Barcelona area. No kids means that they can only serve adults on the level what they like to keep. This is to keep the place as good as possible for the target audience.
