As the lodge was not available, we were upgraded to a tower suite and given access to spa facilities for the day of checkout. The Forestis facilities are impeccable - breathtaking, architectural, curated and with a suite of staff who were kind, well informed and seemed to thoroughly enjoy their vocation.

The hosts made sure we had the best time ever. They were incredibly generous, helpful, friendly and open for any questions. The Chalet was beautiful, modern, clean and located in a lovely, calm place. With a car you’re close to lots of beautiful lakes & the nearby towns are also very nice to visit. The apartment was very clean, well equipped and modern. It was also very convenient to be able to order bread for the morning. Owner Gerda was most helpful in advising on the best hiking routes and local restaurants. We had a problem with our rental car and Gerda's help was invaluable in resolving the situation. I cannot thank her enough!
