Amazing place, thanks to Lal property manager for all the help and for the exceptional service highly recommended, its close to Ella but away from too many tourists. There is a tv with English movies, washing machine and cooking facilities we had a great time and would stay again, thanks Lal!

Exceptional view of 9 Arch Bridge offered by local family who go out of their way to make sure you are well looked after. Yes it’s a little way out of Ella but this means it’s much quieter than the hectic town centre. Plus the owner has a Tuk Tuk and will drop you off / pick you up whenever necessary for a fair price. Breakfast is served on your balcony including egg hoppers, coconut pancakes, fruit salad and freshly squeezed juice. Tea and coffee facilities are provided in the room. Madusha was such a lovely host, she made us feel at home right away. The cottage is super clean, has all you need even a mini bar and kettle, 5-star matras and pillows and soft bedlinen. The view is stunning and the surrounding is very peaceful. Ideal to unwind and relax. The homemade food is delicious and I highly recommend everyone to have your diner at home, made by Madusha. Lots of vegetables and fresh fruit. Breakfast is also amazing and every day it's different.

Great location as it is only 500m from the train station which is 2 stops from Ella. Beautiful view over the garden and hills beyond. Very quiet. No traffic noise. The room was spotlessly clean with plenty of hot water for the shower. Delicious home cooking. But above all else our host and his family made us feel so welcome. Our host helped us plan a fantastic few days. He is completely fluent in English which made all the arrangements go so smoothly.

We loved Arawe and would have loved to stay longer. It’s a beautiful place with such a unique style that’s honest to the environment. It’s fabulous to support such a sustainable and community focused business. Very kind and warm welcome from all of the staff. Always there to help. The kids loved the animals. We also participated in a morning yoga session which was just me and my 7 year old daughter. The yoga teacher adapted the session wonderfully to suit us both. The breakfast was probably the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka, so much so we asked to come back for breakfast again even though we couldn’t stay a second night.

Waking up to the most breathtaking view and having a wonderful breakfast served was such a treat. The atmosphere and surroundings off this place is unbeatable. The family has done a fantastic job with the terasse with recliner chairs and dinner table all to enjoy the view. We had dinner here every night - it was the best we have had so far on our trip. Wonderful and so helpful family. We will have to come back to Yolo again .

Super nice employees, extremely helpful super friendly. check out the tree house room it's a great experience it's really right in the jungle. You can see a lot of animals. Thank you for birthday cake, next time we will stay longer :)
