Amazing accommodation experience! I was staying for 9 nights. The location is very good: not so far from city, but groceries, banks are near. Not so far from train station but you will never hear the trains. Wild nature. Cabins are very clean, good equipped. Washmachine is available. Place for parking is available and owner helped with motorbike renting. The breakfasts were overwhelming! Everyday fresh, every day new option, generous portions. Once owners arranged a local-style dinner 😍 The owner was very helpful and friendly, did a much for my comfortable staying, thank you very much! ❤️

Writers Lodge was perfect in every way. It was well located , fully stocked and fitted with high quality towels and linen. The villa was the best of its kind in Galle. The staff are also polite and accommodating.

Best place we’ve stayed in all of our travels around Asia!! We were welcomed with open arms and felt like part of the family! TuTu and his mum were so kind and generous as well as giving us great recommendations for things to do while we visited Galle. Location was perfect, out of the busy town but close enough to bike ride or get a local tuk tuk into either Galle or Unawatuna! The room was huge and the bed was so comfy! We chose the Sri Lankan breakfast which was delicious and filling! We didn’t want to leave and would stay again in a heartbeat!

Quiet, nice and brand new hotel. Stuff is extraordinary kind, the food was brilliant. If I ever meet the owner, i'm going to ask him who planned the bathrooms :) Honestly we had nothing to complain. On top area around the infinty pool was the perfect place to chill after a long day! Make sure you take a tuk tuk to the beach and go swimming with turtles, best expierence during the whole vacation!

    I had an incredibly pleasant stay at this place. The host and his wife are very lovely; I was warmly welcomed. The cabin is very charming, nicely decorated, comfy and clean, with a beautiful view outside, and there's a lovely spot to sit outside in the garden. The kitchen is brand new and clean, there's a washing machine.. I lacked nothing. I was also surprised by the extensive breakfast which was new every time. The host is very helpful, he even took me to the doctor when I needed it. Definitely recommended!

    It was really a lovely stay. We visited galle to spent our 1st wedding anniversary and spent one night at this beautiful place.the place was pretty calm and the owners are so friendly.Inside the cabin most of the things were wooden and that makes the place so unique. The breakfast was delicious ❤️ worth for the price...

    Such a quaint, cozy property that offers a bespoke cabin experience. We loved the wooden aesthetic of the place and found it a great place to relax. The room was well air-conditioned, and all other facilities like the heating systems were in order, making our stay a comfortable one. The owner was very friendly and ensured our every need was attended to. He also fixed us some delicious breakfasts that we enjoyed very much. Would highly recommend!
