For the active travellers, a chalet is a great mix of the outdoors and the snug inside. Usually fully furnished and self-catered, chalets are typically wooden and in the Alpine region of Europe, but can also be found elsewhere in the world. Characterised by their sloped roofs, chalets can be single units or separate apartments, and are ideal for skiing holidays.

A special little spot right on the river. Quiet. Calm. Spotlessly clean and excellently maintained cabins. The family are adorable! They cannot do enough for you to make your stay easy and pleasant (but they also give you your privacy). We unfortunately were there during a cold spell but they gave us extra blankets (unexpected for the rainforest!). A sweet housecat to pet too.

Lovely nights stay here before our flight - the pool area was really nice, room was spacious with a good powerful fan. Staff were very helpful - special thanks to Milagros Rojas who very kindly posted a postcard for us as it was Sunday so the post office was shut!

We enjoyed the beautiful lodge and delicious food. Beds were comfortable and we were grateful that the entire cabin was screened in (vs some lodges that only provide mosquito netting around the beds). This meant we could enjoy the room, take a shower, etc, without fear of becoming a meal for the bugs.

This place is incredible. The cabins are stunning, you really feel like you're sleeping with the wildlife but they are remarkably big free. The staff were super friendly and helpful, including our guide Dagar who was knowledgeable and showed us so much on the jungle. The food in the restaurant was delicious and plentiful. This was a highlight of our 2 month trip to South America and would recommend it to anyone

This is, IMHO, a very well-run family business that has the client at heart. We were warmly welcomed by very very kind staff, shown to our spacious and beautiful cabin. We took a shower, and went to have very delicious and well-prepared lunch. The staff helped organize excursions for us, and we really enjoyed the time we were there. If we ever get time off from work, we think we will come back here. One very kind thing that they do is to work and support the surrounding communities in different ways, something that is close to our hearts.
